We are all so excited this year! It is out very first Christmas in our new home! We prayed thanking God for this blessing, for four years before we actually received it. Recently, I learned that the previous owner not only remodeled the house, but also fenced 

Take the Victory!

Wednesdays are a long day for our kids. We spend quite a few hours in the car. We drive from the farm into the city. While we’re there, we do several errands. We are in and out of the car quite a bit. That’s a lot for any kid, but especially for a five-year-old that’s overcoming some sensory processing challenges.

We brought our chickens home on Friday. Our son, Mason, was a true farmer! He jumped right in and scooped those birds up like he’d been doing it all his life. He was so happy to help put them in the crate. Our younger son, Nathan

We are blessed to have a partially outfitted chicken house already on our property.  It already has high roosts across two corners. We added nesting boxes we found at a local thrift store. That was the easy part! We just have to install the chicken

We are brand new to country life. Things are pretty fluid right now. I am feeling spread pretty thin these days with trying finish to getting the house painted, finished unpacking, homeschool two young boys, and get the website up. Please bear with me as

The Strickland Family bought a farm, E I E I O And on their farm they have some donkeys, E  I  E  I O Yes, that’s right friends! We have four donkeys! And we are getting some chickens. I think 12. That’s a lot, right?
