Two Down, Two to Go

That’s right! I made it to my second weight loss goal!

Albeit a few days late, but who can predict what is going on in a pre-menopausal body. Wow! I never think of myself in those terms. It is such an odd thing to say. The week with the unexpected visitor really pushed me to work harder. Some mornings, I definitely didn’t feel like getting up to exercise. Truthfully, I would rather do physical work than exercise. But I can see more changes between the Feb 2020 and 6 Mar 2020 pictures.

I need to start taking measurements of myself. It will show changes that may not be that apparent visually and give me encouragement to keep working. The payoff will be a trim and healthier me, if I make sure I am properly hydrated, consume less calories than I burn off and make good food choices. That’s a routine I can keep up with! (See my previous loss pic here.)

Hebrews 12:1 NLT says “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”
